We are seeking a self-motivated, multi-faceted Environmental Project Manager to join our team team at Ash Creek Associates in Portland, OR (a Division of Apex) and become an integral part of our continued success story. Apex is looking for an environmental Project Manager with an entrepreneurial edge to manage environmental assessment and remediation projects, supervise field staff, and develop business. Responsibilities This position entails the technical oversight and execution of environmental assessment and remediation projects. Leveraging existing client relationships and building new client relationships to develop projects in the region is also a responsibility of this position. Other responsibilities include managing and mentoring field staff and ensuring the safe execution of all phases of project work to meet our clients? objectives as well as company goals for revenue generation and profitability. Qualifications Position requirements include 5-10 years of experience performing and managing the technical, financial, and logistical aspects of various environmental projects (Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, remediation design and implementation, etc.). Experience selling environmental consulting services to existing and new clients is preferred. Related state Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certifications are required. Other requirements include a BA/BS (an MS is preferred) in Engineering, Geology, or other related field.
