The Public Safety Department at Mt. Hood Community College is accepting applications for a part-time Public Safety Officer. This position, under the direction of a Lead Public Safety officer or higher official, performs general duty public safety work in the protection of life and property throughout the college. Utilizing established procedures, responds and takes appropriate action in the event of crime, fire, or medical emergencies. Conducts foot, bicycle and vehicle patrols on the college property to enforce state, federal and local laws, and college policy and regulations related to Public Safety. Shifts vary but may include days and swing shifts, weekdays and weekends, from 4-8 hours per shift. The minimum qualifications for this position are
